After over two years of development, we are excited to introduce one of our best uniforms yet.
You may be wondering, why did it take two years to create a traditional uniform? The answer is simple: we wanted to create a gi that was both elegant and functional, based on feedback we received from educators and athletes.
To achieve this, we worked directly with our fabric mill to develop an entirely new fabric weave called AERLUMĀ©. This fabric has the soft feel of a brushed heavyweight, but also has the elasticity of lycra, allowing for a slight stretch. We believe this is one of the best, if not the best, martial arts canvas on the market.
For the style, we returned to the roots of the classic uniform, with a traditional kata cut. However, we also made improvements, such as moving the drawstring waist into a closed funnel for easy tying. With branding, we kept it understated, with no logos in visible areas, allowing for an incognito look or for customized label and logo branding.
